The 24-year-old, who plays Lauren Branning, has warned that Max (played by Jake Wood) sees her as his number one target.
Appearing at the British Soap Awards 2017, Jossa explained the reasons behind Max’s potential thinking.
Speaking about whether she will be caught up in Max’s storyline even further, Jossa said: “I have a feeling, yeah!”
“To be honest, I didn’t really know what was going on and I still don’t know what’s going on, but I’m reading these scripts and going ‘Oh my god’ every week.”
Jossa then added: ”I think Lauren was maybe one of the worst ones.”
She explained to Digital Spy: “She let him sit in a prison cell for a year, knowing it was Bobby. She knew it was Bobby before she left.
“So I think if Max was to have targets on a wall, I think my face would probably be on there!”
Wood compared the plot to Max’s affair with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), explaining: “All the best storylines that people enjoy are mapped out over a long period.
“With Max and Stacey – that was always a three-year storyline and Max’s revenge is going to play out for at least that long, hopefully,” the 44-year-old told Radio Times.
Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is set to break down during tomorrow night’s episode after Matthew is taken away by his biological father Charlie Cotton (Declan Bennett) under the orders of Max.
Following a heart-to-heart with Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) on Friday night, Jack decided to allow Matthew to move overseas.
