Kylie Jenner’s ‘pregnancy’ continues to keep fans guessing months after she was first rumoured to be expecting her first baby with partner Travis Scott.
The rumour mill went into overdrive this week as fans speculated the reality TV star was in labour or could even have already given birth.
The former Selfie Queen’s noticeably low public profile marks a huge change from her famous family’s usual over-sharing details of their private lives.
Kylie, 20, has been notably absent, both on her own social media and that of her family – most obviously during the Kardashians’ 25 days of Christmas Instagram posts.
When she has occasionally posted pictures on social media, the makeup entrepreneur has cropped her lower body or worn baggy, oversized clothes.
But in the absence of official confirmation, fans have started to dig deeper in the hunt for proof of Kylie’s mysterious pregnancy.
In doing so, they have turned their attention onto Kylie’s makeup artist, Ariel Tejada.
The pair met in April 2015 after Kylie sent him her number on Instagram asking to work with him.
Ariel’s Instagram is flooded with pictures of the brunette beauty’s many makeup looks.
But recently, she has all but vanished from his feed, replaced instead with sister Kim and even mum Kris.
The last post Ariel shared of Kylie was back in November, around the time pregnancy rumours started to heat up.
Is it just a coincidence? Fans think not.
Sources say it’s because of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which Kylie has starred in for ten years, that she’s keeping schtum over her pregnancy.
“Her not being out is strictly personal preference. She wants to keep this one aspect of her life private,” revealed the insider.
“She spent her adolescent life on television and has been famous for over 10 years now. If this is the first thing she wants to keep to herself, she should be allowed that,” they added.
Kylie previously spoke about her struggle to deal with the pressures of fame during her own reality TV show ‘Life of Kylie.’
Speaking in her very own E! series, Kylie admitted it was ‘hard to feel normal.’
The star explained that the social media side of her is completely different to the real her.
“There is two sides of me,” Kylie says. “There’s an image I feel constantly pressured to keep up with.
“It’s hard to feel normal. I want to always feel normal. That’s the goal in my life.”
On Friday evening Twitter exploded with speculation Kylie was giving birth to her first child at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA.
Fans thought she was in labour after a text message thread that is thought to have come from someone in the hospital was leaked online.
A screenshot of Scott’s Snapchat from a private jet also circulated on Twitter.
It read: “Make it home to ya one way or another.”
But it turns out the Snap is just a hoax as it was actually posted in December.
TMZ later confirmed that Kylie was not in labour, stating she isn’t even due this month and was not experiencing an early birth.
The website wrote: “Kylie isn’t due this month, and she hasn’t gone into premature labor. Rumors began heating up Friday that Kylie had checked into Cedars-Sinai in L.A. — where all the other Kardashian sisters gave birth — but we’re told it’s definitely not true.”
Although some fans just aren’t convinced.
One fan wrote: “A source has confirmed to me that Kylie Jenner is indeed at the hospital. Working to get you information on whether she’s in labor, there to tour the hospital before giving birth, or something unrelated.”
Meanwhile, Kylie has also reportedly been baby-proofing her home and putting the final touches to the baby’s nursery.
While Kylie has remained tight-lipped about the rumours, US sources close to the family have been dishing details.
“The nursery is done,” a source told Us Weekly on Thursday.
The insider also says she’s already booked a baby nurse, adding: “She’s a go-getter like her mother. No way she waited long to set that up!”
And her mansion is already being baby-proofed, with the source continuing: “Anything sharp has already been taken out.”
