Princess Charlotte can already speak two languages – at age TWO

She may only be two, but Princess Charlotte is already showing language abilities beyond her years, it has been reported.

As well as her native English, the tiny Royal – who started nursery school this week – is already picking up Spanish phrases from her Spanish nanny.

Princess Charlotte was this week said to be making huge strides toward becoming bilingual thanks to Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.

The toddler started at Willcocks Nursery School this week , and was pictured looking excited on her first day.

A source told People magazine that Princess Charlotte is “very sweet and very confident”, and has mastered a number of Spanish words.

The youngster, who is fourth in line to the throne, was photographed at Kensington Palace before before travelling to nearby Willcocks Nursery School.

A royal spokesperson said on Monday: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning.

“The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School.”

Charlotte’s big brother, Prince George, aged four, started attending Thomas’s Battersea school in south London last September.

He previously attended the Westacre Montessori School Nursery , near the family’s country home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
